Buffalo Bills

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

2023

This week we took the easy route and did the most basic dip. It is a classic and it is tasty!

Buffalo Bills Chicken Dip

In a small crockpot mix:

1 block of cream cheese

1 cup shredded chicken

1/2 cup shredded cheddar

1/2 cup ranch

Frank's Red Hot Sauce to taste

Cook until melty (2-3 hours on medium) then top with a bit more cheddar and some chopped green onions. I served this with pita crackers, celery, and carrots.

For the Bills this season, we did a quick bowl featuring Buffalo Wing Chicken Bites, tomatoes, carrots, a rice and quinoa blend, mac and cheese, blue cheese crumbles, and a dollop of ranch. Delicious!

2017

This week was fairly easy in the planning department. When thinking about flavors, it is pretty clear what direction you should go when playing the Buffalo Bills. Enjoy!

Buffalo Bills Pizza

Crust

I used the Publix dough this week. I get it from the bakery area. Follow the directions on the package. I love this dough!

Sauce

For my base this week, I used Sweet Baby Rays Creamy Buffalo Wing dipping sauce. It had just the right amount of kick.

Toppings

1 cup shredded chicken mixed it in with some Marzetti's Ultimate Blue Cheese Dressing

1/2 cup hearts of palm

1/4 cup thinly sliced celery

1 ear of corn, removed from the cob

1/4 cup sliced red onion

8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

(Next time I would also add a little bit of bacon! Because...bacon!)

Bake for 20 minutes on 400. Drizzle with blue cheese and wing sauce.

If you cannot make this recipe and you are looking for Buffalo Style Pizza, head to Galla's in Atlanta. Their pizza is crazy good.

2014

I absolutely love the flavor of Buffalo Burgers.

Buffalo meat is a little on the pricey side, but well worth it for the amazing taste. You would also be wise to grill up some onions to top these bad boys.

Colby Jack holds it all together nicely.

A perfect side for any game against the Bills is Frank's Redhot Buffalo Chicken Dip. We served it piping hot with carrot chips and crackers.

With some good draft picks and that whole buffalo wing thing, the recipes for playing against the Bills abound.

Here are a few. I can't wait to try this Shredded Buffalo Chicken Salad from my blogger friend Nichole. She is also the creator of the hummus dip below. That gal loves the Buffalo flavors!
